Psalm 95 : 6 – 7
6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; 7 for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care. Today, if only you would hear His voice.

Worship Through Songs
Good morning church—beloved of the Lord. Once again we gather as God’s people to give unto the Lord the honor due His Name, and to declare to ourselves and to one another that we belong to Christ—Lord and Master of our lives.
God is an omniscient God—He knows all things including the hidden and the mysterious and His wisdom is unsearchable. He reveals the secrets within each heart and the motive behind each action. As the writer of Hebrews attest, everything is laid bare before the eyes of him whom we have to give account. And He is looking inside each of our hearts this morning—uncovering the true state of our walk with him. Let us consider God’s word…
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. [Psalm 24:3-4]
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. [Matthew 5:8]
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. [Jeremiah 29:13]
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. [Psalm 51:10-12]
To seek God and find him,
In his holy place, in his presence,
Filled with his Holy Spirit,
Experiencing the joy of his salvation,
We need a heart that is pure and undivided.
Brothers and sisters, God desires that we worship him in spirit and in truth. He detests empty praise when we honor him with our lips yet our hearts are far away from him. He searches throughout humankind for hearts that are completely his. Let us therefore, in humility and honesty, let the Holy Spirit search our hearts—to reveal to us our half-heartedness, our pretension and our lack of love. Let it create brokenness and contrition and repentance—driving us back to the amazing grace and mercy of God in the cross of Jesus Christ—to delight once more in the God of our salvation. Let us take this time to pray and ask the Lord to search our hearts, bring conviction and repentance, and cause us to draw near to him with an undivided heart.
‘Dear Lord Jesus, Eternal Son of God, Light of the World and Bright Morning Star. We look to You and set our hearts upon You and your word today—undivided and whole. After thousands of years, your word is still the lamp to our feet and the light to our path. You shine through the darkness outside and You drive away the darkness inside—for You not only pardon us for our sins, You cleanse us from all unrighteousness as well. Help us to walk in the light as You are in the light so that, not only will we have fellowship with one another, but more importantly, we will have fellowship with You. For there is no better place to be than in your presence; no better thing to spend our limited lifespans on, than to walk closely with You. For where else can we turn? You have the words of Eternal Life and You are the Light of our lives. There is simply no one like You.
Lord Jesus, fill us with your light that we may radiate and reflect it all around us. You are the light, we are simply light bearers. May others seek You and come to know You because of your light in us. As You fill our thoughts of heaven and our words with grace; and as You move our hearts with your compassion and empower our hands for loving service, may others find You and enter your kingdom. For this is good and pleasing unto You. We pray this in your precious name. Amen.’
