Call To Worship
Psalm 125 : 1 – 2
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
Worship Through Songs
Good day beloved people of God, called and set apart in Jesus Christ. May this day find you encouraged and filled with the joy of the Lord.
Jude, the half-brother of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his short letter included in New Testament Scripture—after warning believers against false teachers and exhorting them to remain faithful—concludes with this regal doxology … “To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.” It is a fitting acknowledgment of God as the only source, the power behind, and the ultimate goal of our Christian life.
Indeed, where would we be if it were not for the grace of God? Surely if He had not chosen us, called us, enliven us, and enabled us, we would not even turn to him and would remain in darkness still. Yet as Paul in his letter to Titus wrote, “For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Praise God for his grace! Praise God for his salvation! Christ has conquered all and He is our all! We no longer live in guilt and condemnation, bound by the chains of past or present iniquity. Rather we live in the blood-bought freedom that the cross secured—to live for the glory of God’s name and the pleasure of his heart. Because Jesus lives, we too shall live; because Jesus loves, we too can love; and because Jesus won the victory, we too, who belong to him, shall win! Win over the devil and his demons; win over sin and temptation; win over the allure and the dominion of an ungodly world! For greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world! And as we lay down our lives for the glory of our soon and coming King, may everything we do and pursue—including the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts—declare before God, ‘Let your kingdom come, let your will be done!’—across all the earth and in each of our lives. Let us magnify our God and King today.
“Our gracious God and victorious King, we are in awe of who You are. You are awesome in power and magnificent in beauty. Your glory fills the heavens and your goodness shines in all that is fair. The universe cannot contain You yet in condescension You choose to dwell in the heart of the broken and the contrite. How indescribable is your love, how incredible is your mercy and how unsearchable are your ways. You choose the lowly things of the world to shame the high and mighty—the weak things, the despised things, and the foolish things to display your power and fulfill your purposes. You turn us, who are but lowly lumps of coal into sparkling diamonds fit for the crown of our King. All because of grace—your amazing, sin-conquering, life-transforming grace.
Help us this day to abide with You as the branch abides with the vine—to draw our life and nourishment from You that we may bear the fruit You so desire to see in us; to have the very life of Christ so fill and infuse our souls that the outflow will result in love and good works that are pleasing and acceptable before You. Lead us and empower us through your Holy Spirit that the mind of Christ, and the heart of Christ might be formed in us—so that in increasing measure we can genuinely say it is no longer us who live but Christ who lives in us. Cause our love for one another to increase, not merely in outward courtesy and superficial unity, but in a deep Christ-like affection and willingness to lay down our lives for one another. We confess, we are so very far from this ideal. Yet we hang on to your promise to finish the good work You have started in us—to the hope that from glory to glory, You are changing us into the likeness of Jesus Christ your Son, our Savior, our Lord, our all in all. In his Name we pray, Amen.”

Were It Not For Grace with Grace Greater Than Our Sin
Scripture Reading
Ephesians 4 : 1 – 16 (ESV)
1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore it says,
“When he ascended on high he led a host of captives,
and he gave gifts to men.”
9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
14 使 我 們 不 再 作 小 孩 子 , 中 了 人 的 詭 計 和 欺 騙 的 法 術 , 被 一 切 異 教 之 風 搖 動 , 飄 來 飄 去 , 就 隨 從 各 樣 的 異 端 ;
